School Age Care policies are at the link at the bottom of this page. In addition, we have some policies that are unique to our summer programs. These are listed below.Summer Policies
- Signing in: Each parent must come into the building to sign the child in and out. This is a requirement, and it is for the safety of the children.
- Field trips: If your child attends on field trip day, he/she must attend the field trip. We do not have any staff that stay back to supervise children. Children should arrive at least 15 minutes before the departure time.
- Activity forms: We must receive activity forms at least one week before the activity begins. Each summer we have 300 entries into our activity log, so it's a very complicated process. We will not endanger a child by sending them to an activity that has not been logged in and reviewed, because we don't want to forget to pick them up! This is a firm rule. Please use these forms for any scheduled time your child will be away from our program.
- Bringing/picking up your child: The sign-in area is near our program pods. Please take your child to their room, or to the group if they are outside the room. Make sure a staff person sees your child. When you pick up your child, again, please make sure the staff in your child's room are aware that you are there to take them. If you go to watch your child at an activity and decide to bring them back yourself, PLEASE make sure our staff is aware that you are doing that. We've spent lots of time at the ball field, trying to find a missing child that was picked up, and that makes children late to the next scheduled activity!
